(Iowa City, IA) -- University of Iowa Health Care is firming up its plans for the long-term future of the former Mercy Iowa City hospital.

UI Health Care bought the facility out of bankruptcy for 28-million dollars in January.

Now that the transition is complete, UIHC says it's considering relocating around eight services to the hospital including obstetrics, sleep disorder, oncology, and heart and vascular care.

UIHC says it will include employees in evaluating which services may move.
