(Davenport, IA) -- Data continues to point to a bumper crop in Iowa this year...

The Pro Farmer Crop Tour has projected a record corn yield of nearly 193 bushels per acre for Iowa, surpassing both last year's average, and the tour's three-year average.

Meanwhile, the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service says 77% of Iowa's corn, and soybeans, are in good to excellent condition.

That's an increase of 9% for corn, and 11% for soybeans compared to last year.
