(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Community School District approves a plan to renovate Harrison Elementary.
The school board says their unanimous decision to approve the plan was based largely on feedback from the community. Roughly 10,000 people in the community were surveyed earlier this year. The project is currently in the design phase with construction expected to begin in 2026.
