Ex-Felons Voting Rights Case Before Nebraska High Court

Oral arguments are scheduled for today as the Nebraska Supreme Court considers whether the Legislature can restore voting rights to felons who have completed their sentence.

A State Attorney General opinion says a felon must receive a pardon to restore voting rights.

The ACLU-Nebraska brought the case to the state high court on behalf of three plaintiffs and the group "Civic Nebraska."
