Two People From Eastern Iowa Facing Human Trafficking, Sexual Abuse Charges

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Two people from eastern Iowa are in custody facing charges for human trafficking.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department says 49 year-old Tana Torres and 34 year-old Jarod Anderson of Hiawatha were arrested last month in connection to an ongoing investigation. The investigation was into the case of a juvenile female who was initially reported missing but later found in May.

Torres and Anderson are now facing charges of sexual abuse and prostitution.
