FEMA to Open Disaster Recovery Center in Scott County Thursday

(Scott County, IA) -- A new Disaster Recovery Center will open in Scott County this week.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is opening the recovery center at the former Davenport Fire Station on Harrison Street starting Thursday, September 5th. The recovery center's goal will be to provide one-on-one assistance to those affected by severe storms and flooding earlier in the year.

The center opens at 1pm on Thursday, and will be open day from 8am-6pm Monday through Saturday going forward.
