(Iowa City, IA) -- The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is terminating Executive Director Guillermo Morales, citing issues of disrespect and unprofessional behavior.
During a meeting last night, Johnson County Board Chair Rod Sullivan said, "“I have received numerous complaints from at least five other offices about your treatment of their staff and your over-critical communication of other employees. As chair, I've spent countless hours apologizing for your rudeness and trying to mend fences, only to watch you continue your abrasive and corrosive behavior,”
Morales was later abruptly dismissed by a three to two vote.
