(Bettendorf, IA) -- Bettendorf could be getting a new hospital.
City Council has scheduled a public hearing on a request by Genesis Health System to rezone a property just south of the TBK Bank Sports Complex.
The 51-acre site would include a hospital, other medical and healthcare services, retail and restaurant space, and a parking garage.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending approval of the rezoning.
The public hearing is scheduled for September 17th.
