(Andalusia, IL) -- Voters in the Rockridge School District will be asked to approve a bond referendum in November for a new school to replace nearly century-old Andalusia Elementary.
Marcus Bush, Rockridge Schools Superintendent tells WQAD News 8 that "Rockridge has seen about a 20% increase in student enrollment for the last few years. And so we're running out of room at this point."
Bush says the District's three elementary schools will be consolidated in the new building.
He adds that approval of the 30-year, 30-million dollar bond would mean no tax rate increase.
