Nebraska Supreme Court to Hear Arguments in Ballot Challenges

(Lincoln, NE) -- The Nebraska Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments Monday morning over challenges to three different ballot initiatives that would add an abortion access amendment in the state constitution. On Tuesday afternoon, the court will hear arguments in a challenge to a ballot measure over the future of state-funded private school scholarships. It comes just days before the September 13th deadline to finalize the November ballot.

The Nebraska Supreme Court also says in a press release that each side will be given 15 minutes in the proceedings.
