(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa Workforce Development is extending the deadline for Scott County residents impacted by severe weather to apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance.
IWD is now accepting DUA applications until October 28th.
Scott County residents whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted due to severe weather in June are eligible to apply.
