(Davenport, IA) -- A mysterious noise in west Davenport has been identified.
Nestlé Purina says the humming, droning sound residents have repeatedly complained to the city about in recent weeks is them.
They say the sound is coming from equipment at their Rockingham Road plant.
The city says the company plans to start work to lower the sound September 21st.
