Iowa and Minnesota meet in Minneapolis on Saturday, with the Floyd of Rosedale trophy on the line.
This is the 118th meeting all-time between the two schools, with Saturday's game being the earliest in the year ever the two have played. Iowa and Minnesota have only played in September two other times.
The Hawkeyes rebounded from the loss in this year's Cy-Hawk game with a 38-21 win over Troy last week in Iowa City.
Iowa scored 28 second half points to beat the Trojans, with Junior running back Kaleb Johnson rushing for 173 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He leads the nation in rushing with 479 yards so far this season.
After opening the year with a loss to North Carolina, the Golden Gophers outscored their next two opponents 75-0.
