Omaha Police Investigate Two Shootings

Omaha Police Detectives are working on two new shooting cases.

One happened early Wednesday morning near 36th and Hawthorne Avenue, north of Cuming Street and Bemis Park.

Investigators say a woman is hospitalized with arm and leg wounds.

In the other shooting, officers were sent to the area of 16th and Farnam Streets Tuesday evening on a 911 call of a shooting and found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
