Overnight Closures May Cause Travel Delays at Northeast Mix Master

(Grimes, IA) -- Drivers traveling between Ankeny and Des Moines this week may have some travel delays starting Wednesday night, September 25th. Weather permitting, crews will close down the eastbound ramp and lanes of I-35/80 between Northeast 14th Street and the mix master, along with the ramp from southbound I-35 that exits onto westbound I-35/80, for overnight construction work, starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Marked detours will be in place, according to the Iowa DOT. Both locations should be reopened by Thursday morning at 5 a.m.
