(Davenport, IA) -- An investigation is underway following the death of an inmate at the Scott County Jail.
Police say a correctional officer found an inmate unresponsive in a cell at the jail Saturday night.
The inmate was taken to hospital where he died.
Jail staff say the inmate was being held in the regular housing unit and didn't have a cellmate.
No foul play is suspected.
