(Kewanee, IL) -- The Kewanee Police Department is getting a quarter-million dollar grant to hire more cops.
The city says they'll use the Department of Justice funds to cover the salaries of two more officers for three years.
One of those officers will be posted as a school resource officer at Central Junior High School.
The department says the resource officer posted at Kewanee High has been a huge success.
