-- One person has died in an building fire. Crews responded to the fire Wednesday morning, near North 20th and Paul Streets north of downtown Omaha. A second alarm was called to provide manpower for a search and rescue. Fire crews located a victim CPR and advanced life support measures were immediately initiated. The victim was taken to the University Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
A full autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, and the incident remains an active investigation. Another person in the building was treated on the scene. A full autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
