(Des Moines, IA) -- A woman is recovering after being hit by a U-Haul truck in Des Moines Monday morning.
Des Moines Police say the accident happened on the city's east side around 9:30am. Police say the woman was taken to the hospital after the truck backed into her. The woman's injuries are considered non life-threatening. The accident remains under investigation.
Neither the identity of the victim nor the driver have been released.
