(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport is getting approval for just four of the 10 traffic cameras it requested from the state.
A law signed by Governor Reynolds in May requires cities to apply to the Iowa Department of Transportation for traffic cam approval.
Four Davenport cams were approved for Harrison Street at 35th; Welcome Way at Kimberly; and two on Kimberly at Brady.
The state approved only 11 of 128 requested traffic cams statewide.
