(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids Police are monitoring a student after a threat against a school.
A letter to parents at Franklin Middle School said a student threatened to bring a gun to the school.
The District says that student has since been suspended and is not allowed on any Cedar Rapids Community School District property.
The letter assures that students, staff, and visitors are safe.
