(Omaha, NE) -- We set a new record high. The National Weather Service says Omaha Eppley Airfield reached 96 degrees Saturday, setting a new record high for October 5.
The Weather Service hit 91 degrees at their offices in Valley, also setting a new record high for the date.
It'll be 15 to 20 degrees cooler today, but warming up again later this week.
