(Des Moines, IA) -- Several locations in central Iowa are without Internet and phone service due to a Metronet service outage. The Ames school district reported they were without phone service as of Tuesday morning. Other businesses in Ames are without service as well. There's been no word on what has caused the outage.
Metronet says they have crews working on the problem, and will notify customers when their service is restored.
