(Davenport, IA) -- A Davenport woman is accused of embezzling nearly $300,000 from her employer.
Prosecutors say 52 year-old Erika Platt wrote nearly 90 fraudulent checks to herself since May of last year while working as a controller at Mid-American Glass.
She's being held in the Scott County jail pending a court appearance a week from tomorrow.
