Linn County Sheriff's Office K9 to Retire

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A K9 with the Linn County Sheriff's Office will retire.

Bingo, a nine year-old German Shepard, has been serving with the Linn County Sheriff's Office since 2016. Bingo is a narcotics detection dog trained in Tennessee. His service led to multiple narcotics-related arrests during the course of his career.

He'll continue to live with his handler, Deputy Derek Steins.
