Iowa State is inching closer to the top ten after a historic start to the 2024 season, while Iowa returns home to Iowa City after its first Big Ten loss of the season.

Washington at Iowa

The Hawkeyes held Ohio State to just seven points in the first half before the Buckeyes scored 28 more unanswered to put Iowa away last Saturday. OSU threw and ran for 200 yards in the win, tallying 21 first downs along the way.
Hawkeyes running back Kaleb Johnson finished with 86 yards and a score in the loss, and still leads the Big Ten in rushing yards and touchdowns.
Washington comes to Iowa City on the heels of its win over Michigan, in what was a rematch of the 2024 National Championship game.
Huskies quarterback Will Rogers has thrown for 800 yards and six touchdowns over the last three games.

Iowa State at West Virginia
7:00 p.m. - Coverage starts at 6:00 p.m.
The historic start continues for head coach Matt Campbell and the Iowa State Cyclones, now 5-0 for the first time since 1980.
ISU went down 14-3 to Baylor early in the second quarter, before outscoring the Bears 40-7 the rest of the way. The Cyclones finished the night with season highs in total offense, passing yards, and rushing yards.
West Virginia is tied with Iowa State, BYU, and Colorado at 2-0 in the Big 12.
The Mountaineers knocked off Oklahoma State on the road 38-14 last week as two-and-a-half point underdogs. WVU ran for a season-high 389 yards in the win, with Jaheim White leading the way in a 158-yard performance.
A win for Iowa State would be the best start for the Cyclones since 1938.
