(Dubuque, IA) -- Two-third's of the fish in an Iowa aquarium exhibit are dead after a chemical leak.

Coolant from the HVAC system at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in Dubuque contaminated the 40-thousand gallon Gulf of Mexico exhibit tank.

Cloudy water conditions from a bacterial bloom prevented staff from rescuing more than a third of the fish.
