(Omaha, NE) -- Despite an airport post on "X" saying it was Friday, a full-scale, simulated aircraft accident training exercise at Omaha's Eppley Airport is planned for Saturday morning.
The exercise at nine a. m. will involve a simulated aircraft accident and test the response and recovery capabilities of the Omaha Airport Authority and community response agencies.
There are some preliminary preparations at the airport on Friday
The Omaha airport has the exercise once every three years as a requirement of the Federal Aviation Administration.
