Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people at 42nd and Madison Streets early Sunday.
Officers went to the area at 5:05 a.m. and located 18-year-old Kelber Najera-Genchi, who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
OFD Paramedics took Najera-Genchi to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators say his injury is not life threatening.
Shortly after officers arrived at the hospital, a walk-in shooting victim arrived.
It is believed 20-year old Eric Oliver-Vargas was injured at the Madison Street scene.
His injury is not life threatening.
Investigators determined there was a large gathering in the area and there was a disturbance followed by shots fired.
