(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island residents will have an opportunity to ask questions of their city officials again this week.
Mayor Mike Thoms, alderman and city staff will be on-hand for another of what the city calls their Unplugged sessions Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Stern Center at 1713 3rd Avenue.
It's an effort to encourage open dialogue between residents and Rock Island elected officials.
Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m.
Residents who are unable to attend can send questions in advance to Community Engagement Manager Sarah Hayden at hayden.sarah@rigov.org to be read aloud during the event.
Free hot appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages and a cash bar will be provided.
