(Davenport, IA) -- The Quad Cities is dealing with it's annual fall invasion of Asian Lady Beetles.
They resemble ladybugs except they come in various shades of red, and orange and have an M-shaped marking on their heads.
And their bite is fierce.
At this time of year they're looking for somewhere warm to spend the winter.
Rick Arguello, a local exterminator tells WQAD News 8 that those that don't find a spot will die off once we have a consistent freeze.
