(Des Moines, IA) -- Zora Bar and Rooftop in Des Moines will remain owned by Community First Credit Union.
The bar was set to be auctioned Tuesday morning, but no other bids were entered for the property's 3.4 million dollar price tag. Zora was closed down last year after being denied a liquor license.
The bar opened in 2020 and was frequently the source of complaints and reports of violence, including a deadly shooting in 2023.
