(Monticello, IA) -- Voters in Montecello will be asked to approve a bond to fund merging two schools and expanding two others at the polls November 5th.
The school district says they need 15-million to fund the project that would combine Carpenter and Shannon elementary, and build additions to their middle and high schools.
If approved, homeowners would see a tax increase of about 4-dollars a month for every 100-thousand their house is worth.
