(Springfield, IL) -- Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias has reached a multi-million dollar settlement with an unregistered crypto firm. The office says Illinois residents who invested money with GS Partners or any of its entities are eligible for a 100 percent return of net investment.
The Secretary of State says the German-based company failed to register securities sold in Illinois and primarily targeted minority communities, even going as far as holding investment seminars at churches.
