(Ida County, IA) -- One person is dead and two children are hurt after a crash in rural northwest Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened a little after 6pm Wednesday when a pickup truck crashed into a semi that was pulling a grain trailer in Ida County. The driver of the pickup, 20 year-old Joshua Fowler, died at the scene. Two juvenile females were were flown to area hospitals. So far, details on their conditions or the extent of their injuries have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
