(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island city councilors got the feedback they were looking for at their unplugged public forum last night.
Several residents spoke out about the city's new street improvement fee that will replace the gas tax.
One resident disagreed with the way the city is calculating the fee based on property size.
The city expects to raise $2-million annually from the fee that will start appearing on water bills next month.
