(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cargill is cutting off the health insurance of their striking workers.

In a press release from Teamsters Local 238, the union says the company is trying to force the nearly 100 stirking employees back to work with the move.

Cargill says workers will still be eligible for health insurance beyond the Thursday cutoff through COBRA.

Cargill workers have been on strike for higher wages and better working conditions since October 1st.
