(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Iowa wants to buy a mall.

UI already owns and occupies the second floor of Old Capitol Town Center in downtown Iowa City, adjacent to their campus.

The University will ask the Board of regents for approval to spend 20.6-million to buy the rest of the mall which the school says will continue to feature retail tenants.
