(Davenport, IA) -- The city of Davenport is launching a new program to salute members of the armed forces.
The Veteran's Tribute Banner Program allows residents to sponsor a banner featuring the name and photo of a veteran or active-duty service member.
The banners will be placed on riverfront light posts from Veterans Memorial Park to the Centennial Bridge.
