(Moline, IL) -- Moline Police say a middle school student was detained after bringing a BB gun to school Tuesday.
Police say they received a 9-1-1 call around 7:30am Tuesday from a city bus passenger who said a student on the bus had a gun. Police located and detained the 12 year-old student outside John Deere Middle School and found what turned out to be a BB gun.
Police say there is no threat to the public, and no one was hurt.
