(Omaha, NE) -- Funding for six student groups at the University of Nebraska Omaha are on hold after complains triggered an audit.
The UNO student newspaper, The Gateway reported that students were made aware of the problem at a meeting where administrators reported the six student groups are not following the university's rule that the money must be used for a broad-based student population.
The University says extra scrutiny is now going into requests for payment by the groups, and no purchases have been approved since October.
