(Des Moines, IA) -- An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was critically injured when hit by a vehicle in southeast Des Moines.
Police say they responded to the crash in the 5500 block of SE 14th Street at around 6:28 p.m. Monday and found an adult male suffering from critical injuries.
He was taken to the hospital, and his current condition is not yet known.
