(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The sentencing for McKinley Louisma, the man convicted of killing Melody Hoffman from Marion, has been rescheduled to later this month.
It was supposed to happen tomorrow, but prosecutors filed a motion for a continuance.
Louisma faces an automatic life sentence for the kidnapping and first-degree murder of the woman investigators say was his ex-girlfriend
Two other men were charged as accomplices. Dakota Van Patten faces a first-degree murder charge. Logan Kimpton is charged with conspiracy. Their trials are scheduled for the spring.
