(Davenport, IA) -- Violent crimes are down in Davenport.

That's according to a report detailing key crime statistics between November of last year, and last month.

Police Chief Jeffery Bladel says shots fired incidents have dropped nearly 27-percent compared to last year.

The number of non-fatal gunshot victims has decreased by more than 44-percent over the same period.

Car thefts are also down 36%.
