Many Husker fans now make travel plans to the Big Apple for Nebraska's first bowl game since 2016.

The Big Red will play in the "Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl" at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

NU will meet Boston College Saturday, Dec. 28th.

The game will kick off at 11 a.m. with television coverage on ABC.

In Bob Devaney's first year as coach in Lincoln, 1962, Nebraska played across the street from the current stadium in the famed old Yankee Stadium against Miami in the long-defunct Gotham Bowl game.

That game was won by the Huskers in frigid conditions in front of a sparse crowd, reduced even more by a New York City newspaper strike when that coverage was especially critical to attendance.

Iowa will play Missouri in the Music City Bowl December 30th at 1:30 on ESPN.

Iowa State is in the "Pop Tarts Bowl" December 28th in Orlando against Miami, with a 2:30 kick off on ABC.
