(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Nearly half the teachers at three Cedar Rapids High Schools are considering leaving the District.

Those are the results of a Staff Morale survey conducted by administration at Jefferson, Kennedy and Washington high schools in October.

Most teachers surveyed cited feeling scared to voice their concerns to District officials, and in some cases having those concerns used against them, as reasons for wanting to leave.

Superintendent Dr. Tawana Grover said in a Friday interview with Iowa's News Now that she encourages feedback.
