(Rock Island, IL) -- An Illinois Quad Cities postal worker found with nearly 500 greeting cards in his home will be sentenced in March.

Justin Michael Brown of Davenport pled guilty to charges of stealing mail, and drug charges in September.

He was scheduled to be sentenced this week, but prosecutors say he failed to participate in a presentencing report.

Under threat of more charges, he finally agreed to comply.

Investigators say the mail found in his home in late June thanks to an anonymous tip, contained cash and checks taken before it made it into the mail system.
