Rock Island PD And IDOT Teaming Up On Drive Sober Campaign

(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island Police Department and Illinois Department of Transportation are working together on a "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' and "Drive High Get a DUI" campaign.

Through January 2, 2025 law enforcement agencies across the state of Illinois will be operating under a zero tolerance policy for impaired driving.

The campaign is funded by federal highway safety grants from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and managed by IDOT.
