(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Public hearings on a new development in Cedar Rapids will take place tomorrow.

City Council will listen to resident feedback on a proposed development agreement for a new data center in the Big Cedar Industrial Center on 76th Avenue SW.

According to city documents, the agreement would rebate about half of the $1-billion in property taxes the city estimates would be generated by the project back to the developer.

The data center is estimated to cost $750 million.
