(Omaha, NE) -- An Omaha/Council Bluffs metro-area youth wheelchair basketball league is set to host a tournament this weekend. The Nebraska Red Dawgs will host at least eight other wheelchair teams from several states, including Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, at Papillion-La Vista South High School.
The Red Dawgs are a co-ed wheelchair basketball youth team and part of Nebraska Adaptive Sports. This is the only local tournament they will be hosting this season.
The tournament gets started Saturday morning at 10 a.m., with games scheduled throughout the day. Admission is free and open to the public.
